The new moon at 28 Scorpio on November 20, 2025 forms at 12:47 a.m. CST conjunct Mercury at the mid-point of its retrograde in the heart of the Sun. This triple conjunction of the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus retrograde, recently back in Taurus for the last time until it moves back into Gemini next April until 2032. Mars is hosting the new moon while in aversion to it in Sagittarius.

The first week or so of November sets the stage for the remainder of 2025 in a lot of ways. Mars, Venus, and Uranus change signs. Mercury stations retrograde in Jupiter’s sign on November 9; and, while still a beacon of support exalted in Cancer, Jupiter also stations retrograde on November 11.

On October 13, Venus moved into its home sign of Libra and opposed Neptune as it inches back into Pisces on October 22, the day after the Libra New Moon. Between now and then, there’s a strong possibility of potent tension to arise — potentially ending with an important pivot — as energies cluster and thread through themes of identity, relating, wounding, revelation, healing, and karmic release.
